Warranty Policy

Effective from the date of purchase

InBody India Pvt. Ltd. stands behind the quality of its products. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage provided for manufacturing defects and the process for raising warranty claims.

1. Warranty Coverage

InBody India products are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. The warranty period begins from the date of original purchase.

Please retain your original invoice or purchase receipt — it will be required to validate your warranty claim.

2. What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Hardware failures under normal operating conditions
  • Defects that arise during the warranty period and are not caused by external factors

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage caused by misuse, accident, negligence, or unauthorised modification
  • Damage caused by water, fire, flood, or other environmental conditions
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, cosmetic damage)
  • Battery damage not resulting from a manufacturing defect
  • Damage caused by service performed by anyone other than an authorised InBody India service provider
  • Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers
  • Consumable parts (e.g., batteries) unless damage has occurred due to a defect

This warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorised resellers or second-hand marketplaces. Always purchase from authorised InBody India channels to ensure warranty validity.

4. Warranty Claim Process

To raise a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  1. Contact InBody India Customer Support at salesupportindia@inbody.com with your order number and a description of the defect.
  2. Provide clear photo or video evidence of the defect.
  3. Our team will assess the issue and advise on next steps — this may include shipment to an authorised service centre.
  4. Upon inspection and confirmation of a manufacturing defect, InBody India will repair or replace the product at its discretion.
  5. Repaired or replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

5. Service Options

Depending on the nature of the defect and your location, warranty service may be provided as:

  • Repair: The defective unit is repaired at an authorised service centre.
  • Replacement: A replacement unit of the same or equivalent model is provided.

InBody India reserves the right to determine the most appropriate service method. If a replaced unit is unavailable, a product of equivalent or greater value may be offered.

6. Shipping for Warranty Service

  • InBody India will arrange for pickup of the defective product for approved warranty claims wherever possible.
  • If pickup service is unavailable in your area, you may be required to ship the product to a designated service address. Shipping costs in such cases will be communicated in advance.
  • Return shipping of repaired or replaced products to the customer will be arranged by InBody India.

7. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy available to the customer. InBody India's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. InBody India shall not be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from product defects to the extent permitted by applicable Indian law.

8. Relationship to Refund & Replacement Policy

Defects reported within 14 days of delivery are handled under the Refund & Replacement Policy. Defects reported after 14 days but within the warranty period are handled under this Warranty Policy.
